It appeard that the UK has cut 500 million from the Defence Budget. Great move as the world moves closer to war.

Thanks, as always, for enduring the clown show on our behalf.

One point: you write "A Labour Government claiming to represent the interests of ‘working people’ may see fewer of them and more claiming benefits instead." - which is a good thing for Labour because bennie recipients will become their new clientele. After all, crying 'bad Tories will take away your bennies and make you work' is guaranteed to make them vote for nice Labour ...

There is that ... it seems the current Labour lot have forgotten some of the lessons taught to their grandfathers. They've only 'learned' from Denis Healy who said he wanted to squeeze the rich 'until the pips squeak' ... 'Winter of discontent'? They never heard of it ...
