This incident will be debated for years. So many variables. We have a failed protection plan, a dead shooter and a heated election.

One thing for sure. Trump is one lucky guy. It was probably the distance away from the shooter. They say it was over 200 yards. That is a long way in shooting. So many variables in wind and gravity. However, if there were people shouting to the police about the shooter, they probably rattled him enough to at least twitch.

Well, let's see what the aftermath brings. Trump came across as strong and determined. Getting ready for his convention this week. Meanwhile Biden talks of going to bed early and waking up late.

Strewth - that Aaronovich 'recanting' tweet is priceless! So he 'didn't really mean' what he said in his first tweet: why, as a journalist, is he unable to actually write what he means? So 'it was satire' - the usual excuse from any Lefty when being told he overstepped the bounds of civil discourse. And finally: 'look at meeee - I'm the victim here, people are mean to me now' ... oh dear, how sad ...

The same people in the meejah who analyse even a sneeze of a political opponent for nefarious political thoughts hide behind 'it wasn't me, and if it was, I didn't mean it, I'm the victim'.

It's their double standards which are so sickening.

Whether or not you like or hate Trump you have to admire his determination. Not many people could handle the stress of all those court cases and then this assassination attempt. What I find amusing is that those that call me a conspiracy theorist are now promoting conspiracy theories about this event.
