I am amazed that there is any continuity at all in your country or mine. Seems there is a leadership change as about as often as I change my furnace filters. As bad as every 2-4 years in the US.

And here we have the interference in any long term goals with the overuse of executive orders on a near daily basis. Many of those are intended to stir the political pot, only to be struck down by the courts.

Dear me, that reads as if PMQs was as dire as can be! More and more this government plus loyal opposition looks like a tired circus performance where the paying audience has long left the tent because they know this circus has nothing to do with real life, nor have the 'performers' a.k.a. MPs got an inkling.

As for this: "1,500 South Wales homes needing festive food hampers": isn't the Principality devolved, and isn't it a Labour fiefdom, from inception? So why can't the precious Welsh 'government' pay for this from their own money? The utter ineptitude on display by all our 'governing' politicians is truly a wonder to behold. And remember: no matter which electoral system is in place: the same old stupid faces will be sitting on the benches, no matter what.

To be fair, the hampers were/are charity initiative and the MP cut a record to help fund it.

My farmer grandfather said 'the trough remains the same, only the oxen change.'
