In Sunday’s piece I focused on Trump’s ‘mental acuity and ballsiness’, calling on his protection squad to ‘wait wait wait’ while he struggled free of them to do his power fist, a shot that many are now saying could clinch his bid for the Presidency.
But note the crowd’s reaction. They weren’t shouting ‘Let’s go, Brandon’ or anything about Trump himself. The call was ‘USA! USA!’
They feel the campaign is about saving American democracy, which the Left has regularly claimed is threatened by Trump, represented as literally a Hitler.
On our side of the Atlantic we are at the beginning of a battle to preserve Parliamentary democracy against an unrepentant Trotskyite who wants to push more devolution on us and complete the constitutional vandalism of the New Labour years.
In Europe too, as in Canada, the people are revolting against their faux representatives.
If Trump gets in and halts the US-driven slaughter in Ukraine, perhaps the tide will turn and leaders will begin to listen to their voters again.
From all of the articles I read, both foreign and domestic, the West wasts no part of peace in Ukraine.
Hungarian PM Orban has been highly criticized for even attempting a peace solution. Any other attempts from other countries have been ignored.
