Transgender: a red herring?

Transgenderism is real and always has been. But the current mania - the screaming crowds, dissenters ‘de-platformed’ and losing their livelihoods… is it possible that the Establishment is happy to use the issue as a distraction?

Let’s look at figures to compare rates of poverty and gender self-identification:

• The U.S. Census Bureau projected the U.S. population was going to be 334,233,854 on January 1, 2023.

• It also said the official poverty rate in 2021 was 11.6 percent, with 37.9 million people in poverty. Here is how it defines poverty.

• A study published last June said 1.3 million adults (0.5%) said they were transgender, while 300,000 youths (1.4%) aged 13-17 said the same for themselves.

Where are the mainstream media splurges on poverty? The violent demonstrations?

Governments have learned how they can wind us up, divert and intensify negative feelings. It’s almost like Chairman Mao’s strategy of setting groups against each other so they didn’t come after him.

And there’s a Pandora’s boxful of other issues to get us all excited: ‘saving the planet’ while promoting war with Russia and risking global nuclear devastation (great doublethink, that); war with China; Islamophobia; race; sex,sex,sex (and abortion).

What happened to calm, rational, benevolent rule guiding us to peace and prosperity?
