There is a religious genocide going on in Nigeria and you’re not supposed to do anything about it.
Not according to my Internet Service Provider, anyhow.
Aid to the Church in Need is organising an event for 23 November in support of those being persecuted for their faith. As part of this someone forwarded an email to me with a request to sign a petition to stop the killings in Nigeria:
We are today inviting you to sign an urgent ACN petition calling for Government action to save Christians from genocidal violence in Nigeria.
The ACN Break the Silence petition, launched yesterday (Thursday) in the Parliament at Westminster, calls on the UK Government to exert pressure on Nigeria’s political leaders to bring to justice those responsible for genocidal attacks, abductions and other atrocities plaguing the country.
More than 7,600 Christians have been killed within just 18 months and a further 5,200 abducted. Last year alone, there were attacks on more than 400 churches and other Christian institutes…
… but when I clicked on the link I got this:
It’s OK to stand with Ukrainians (the ones in the north and west) and Uighurs, but not Christians?
Exactly who at TalkTalk decided this, and on what basis?
And from what motives?
